By using GitWriter, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Description of Service
GitWriter is a mobile Markdown editor that connects to your GitHub account to store and sync your writing. The app allows you to:
- Connect to your GitHub account
- Create and edit Markdown files in your repositories
- Sync changes to GitHub through commits
3. Your Responsibilities
- You must have a valid GitHub account to use GitWriter
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your GitHub credentials
- You own all content you create using GitWriter
- You must comply with GitHub's Terms of Service
4. Data and Storage
- GitWriter does not store your content on our servers
- All content is stored in your GitHub repositories
- You retain full ownership and control of your data
- We are not responsible for data loss on GitHub's servers
5. GitHub Integration
- GitWriter uses GitHub's official API
- You grant us permission to access your repositories on your behalf
- We never store or transmit your GitHub credentials
- Authentication is handled securely through GitHub's OAuth
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
GitWriter is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- That defects will be corrected
- The app will meet your requirements
- Data will not be lost or corrupted
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GitWriter's creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from use of the app.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to GitWriter at any time, with or without cause.
